FaceTime
"Facetime" is a conference where up to 10 emerging healthcare and medical device companies are given
the opportunity to make presentations to 5 active VCs. They will be
rigorously screened and coached.
The event will begin with 10-minute presentations by the companies for
the Investors to view. The investors will select up to 5 companies they
want to meet one-on-one. Each investor will have a private office where
selected entrepreneurs will have 25-mins to meet with him or her.
NOTE: It is possible for a company to be selected by all 5 investors, and
another company not be selected at all.
There will be a mandatory 3-hrs of coaching provided for the 10-minute presentation that can be used for their 1-on-1 meeing for those
that are selected.

The selection process is 2-fold. First, the screening committee will select up to 12 candidates out of all the applications submitted
by June 10, 2010. And second, these candidates will participate in presentation
auditions, where we will select up to 10 companies that will present at the
conference.
